Project History

Learn more about the Founders Park Development Project:

Previously referred to as “Butcher Park,” this site is located at the northeast corner of Palos Verdes Drive East and Palos Verdes Drive North. Although not yet developed, the conceptual plan approved includes natural-looking play structures and native landscaping. This new park was approved for development in 2021. The plans and specifications are completed with an expectation to go out to bid in Spring 2023 and break ground in Summer 2023.
