Installation of New Equestrian Crossings

Work is scheduled to commence on Monday, August 14 for the installation of new equestrian crossings on Rolling Hills Road at the Palomino Ranchos Trail and on Palos Verdes Drive North at 3739 Palos Verdes Drive North. The project includes crosswalk markings, warning signs with rectangular rapid flashing beacons and in-roadway warning lights. The project is expected be completed by early-November. During construction, there will be some temporary lane closures between 9 am and 3 pm; however, streets will be open in both directions at all times. If needed, some phases of the work may be scheduled at night to minimize traffic impacts.
