Mayor Britt Huff dedicated the 19th Amendment Commemoration Plaque on August 26, 2023.

The City of Rolling Hills Estates, in partnership with the Palos Verdes League of Women Voters, hosted a belated celebration of this momentous event by designing and dedicating a Centennial commemorative plaque on City Hall grounds, unveiled on Saturday, August 26, 2023, as part of a Centennial celebration of women’s right to vote.

Mayor Britt Huff led the efforts to honor the brave individuals who fought tirelessly for Women’s Suffrage and recognized the women who have gone on to serve in public office. The City of Rolling Hills Estates also celebrated the ongoing commitment of the Palos Verdes Peninsula League of Women Voters and others who work to create a more informed and educated electorate and advocate justice for all.
