Most City street trees are pruned on a 4 or 5-year interval. Residents can request permission, in writing, to pay for more frequent pruning or the removal and replacement of a City street tree. Removal requests are reviewed by the City and may require approval by the Park and Activities Commission.

In addition, the City offers a process for view restoration to preserve a view that has become obstructed by neighboring private property vegetation from the date of property acquisition, or 15 years prior to the effective date of Ordinance No. 661, whichever is later.

For any further information about the street tree maintenance program or view restoration, please contact Mike Goldsmith, Maintenance Superintendent, at (310) 378-4504 or Mikeg@rollinghillsestatesca.gov
