Debby Stegura

Mayor Pro Tem Debby Stegura was elected to the Rolling Hills Estates City Council in 2020.  Previously, she served the City as a volunteer member of the Environmental Advisory Committee and of the General Plan Advisory Committee.  She is a former Masongate HOA president.

Debby was a publicly elected member of the Board of Library Trustees of the Palos Verdes Library District from 2011 to 2019.  She has long volunteered in the community and is a former co-president of the Peninsula Education Foundation and past president of the Palos Verdes Chapter of National Charity League, Inc.

Debby is completing her term as Alumni Regent on the University of California Board of Regents and is a past president of the Cal Aggie Alumni Association of UC Davis.  She serves as president of the Alumni Associations of the University of California.

A former business litigator, Debby earned a B.A. with honors from UC Davis and a J.D. from the University of Southern California.   

Debby and her husband Larry Vanden Bos have three adult children.
