Sign-up for our urgent alerts and notification system “Alert SouthBay.”
Alert South Bay is a partnership of fourteen South Bay cities in establishing a mass notification system to collaboratively keep our communities informed about disasters and major emergencies.
This system, managed through Everbridge, provides an opportunity to opt-in to receive timely notifications via email, text message and cellular. Additionally, it provides the ability to conduct landline phone calls if the need is urgent. Users can subscribe to receive alerts from RHE as well as other South Bay cities. You can sign-up to receive information from where you work, live or play!
The City will use this system, similar to our previous system, Nixle, for emergency messaging through text and e-mail to inform subscribers of immediate public safety alerts, traffic advisories and emergency/disaster-related information.
Everbridge is a secure communication service available to government agencies. The service is free to subscribers, however standard text message rates may apply in accordance with your cellphone provider. Collected information is NOT sold to third parties nor is it used for marketing purposes.
